Oh back down the rabbit hole I went… You would think after escaping, why would I go back down? Oh because we Californians were graced with the presence of the God of Trance, Mr. Armin van Buuren and his A State of Trance 550 celebration!!! WOOOHOOO!!!
It really was a treat to have AvB bring his ASOT550 party to LA! A makeup for the fiasco known as Monster Massive. With the weather being the OPPOSITE of Hell, one could think that it IS Hell. The night was amazing, met new friends, ran into old ones… made more memories with my best friend/cousin/sister! Oh and yeah took a picture with DJ Shogun… NBD (fan-girling HARDCORE!)

I realized that I have been pretty low-key with the events happening in EDM this year. It’s already March and I’ve only been to what 4-5 shows? Not cool! I guess it’s just being in SF, you are limited to the venues that book the people you want to go see. Fucking Shitty Skye is at the bottom of my list and why did I choose my first appearance in 2012 to be BT I do not know! Probably because Vessel was what I did last year for the birthday and didn’t want a repeat. LOL! All in all, BT was an alright night… Alright in the sense that I was expecting his Trance/House set but he wanted to experiment with Dubstep and Moombahton… nothing to hate against those genres but it was not what I was looking forward to. But thanks to my LOVELY friends, we made the most of it!!! YAY!
